In 2023, Art Düsseldorf will present galleries that have been in existence for less than 10 years with current works by emerging artists in the new NEXT section.
New impulses on the topics of sustainability, diversity and digitalisation await you in our SOLO section. Here, selected galleries show solo presentations by individual artists on the aforementioned focus topics.
As usual, you will find relevant works by established positions after 1945 in the MAIN section.
Tickets will only be available in our online shop. Please note that it is no longer possible to buy tickets on site.
The day ticket is available for 26€ or reduced for 19€ (for more details see below).

No, unfortunately not. This is why we try to keep our prices as low as possible.
There is no discount for group bookings.
It is not possible to cancel or return the ticket. However, it is possible for you to re-personalize a ticket by opening the ticket link you received in the mail after your booking. There you now click on “Personalisierung ändern”/”Change personalization” delete the old name and insert the new one.

Large bags, suitcases, backpacks, scooters etc. are not permitted inside the fair. Those items need to be checked in at the coat check (2 EUR)
Dogs are generally not allowed on the exhibition grounds. Exceptions are assistance dogs with the appropriate certificate as well as small dogs in the appropriate container, which are not allowed to leave this on the exhibition grounds.
Public Transportation: Directly opposite the entrance of Areal Böhler you will find the stop “Düsseldorf-Lörick“. You can reach the stop in a 4 minutes walk by simply following the signs. Düsseldorf Lörrick is being served by the metro lines U 70, U 74 and U 76. The travel time to and from the main station in Düsseldorf (metro lines U 74 and U 76 in the direction of Meerbusch / Krefeld) takes about 17 minutes.

Please note: The parking fee at Strandbad Lörick is 5 EUR and at Areal Böhler 10 EUR and can only be paid in cash.
From North / East:
Take A3 or A44 in the direction of Düsseldorf then take A52. Continue on the Northern approach road / B1 (bear right) and follow the signage A52 / Mönchengladbach / Neuss / D-Hafen. Go on straight on B7 (signs to Mönchengladbach / Köln-Aachen / Neuss / D-Oberkassel) over the Thoedor-Heuss bridge. After that take the exit in direction of D-Heerdt and turn left after approx. 70 m on Krefelder Straße. After approx. 700 m turn right on Böhlerstraße and after approx. 900 m you will find Areal Böhler on the left side.
From South / West:
Take A52 in the direction of Düsseldorf. After approx. 5 km at exit 14 Büderich / Neuss drive in the direction of Meerbusch Büderich (left). After approx. 800 m turn right into Marienburger Straße and after approx. 200 m turn right again into Düsseldorfer Straße. After approx. 600 m turn left into Böhlerstraße and after approx. 900 m you will find Areal Böhler on the left side.
From the airport: From the airport in Düsseldorf take S11 in direction Bergisch-Gladbach until Düsseldorf main station (travel time approx. 12 minutes). From there you reach the Areal Böhler with the metro-lines U 74 and U 76 (in direction Meerbusch / Krefeld. Get off at the stop Düsseldorf-Lörick, travel time approx. 17 minutes).
By taxi the travel time from Düsseldorf airport to Areal Böhler takes approx. 20 minutes.
Unfortunately, the number of parking spaces at the Böhler site is limited. Please use the car park at Strandbad Lörick and our shuttle service: Our permanent shuttle service will take you quickly and comfortably from Strandbad Lörick to the Böhler site and back again during the fair’s opening hours. The journey time of the shuttle is approx. 5 minutes.
Please note: The parking fee at Areal Böhler is 10 EUR and at Strandbad Lörick 5 EUR and can only be paid in cash.
Tickets for the one-hour public guided tours are only available in our online ticket shop. To take part in a guided tour, you also need a day ticket for the same day to gain access to the exhibition grounds. Unless otherwise stated, the guided tours will be held in German.
Childcare is not provided. Children up to and including 11 years of age are admitted free of charge. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Feel free to join our recurring digital tours with the Art Düsseldorf Art Guides. The tours take place from Friday to Sunday from 12 pm to 1:45 pm and from 4:15 pm to 6 pm and are accessible via a link on our website.
You will find the restaurant Il Pastaio – Italian by Broich in the Halle am Wasserturm during the exhibition hours. If you would like to make a reservation at the restaurant please contact Nina Niersbach at 0162/2682987.
The fair is fully accessible for people with reduced mobility. Tickets for accompanying persons/carers are available free of charge. Please register for this at the entrance to the fair.
Likewise, spatial accessibility is ensured for wheelchair users at the trade fair by means of tables in the restaurant that can be moved underneath.
A limited number of wheelchairs are available at the fair. If you need a wheelchair, please ask a member of staff at the entrance or a member of the security staff who can help you.
Parking spaces for the disabled are located directly opposite the main entrance (parking lot P6).
Assistance dogs are allowed on the fairgrounds with appropriate notice.
In cooperation with our partner and insurer Allianz, we are very pleased to offer Art Tours for the hearing, hearing-impaired and deaf accompanied by DGS interpreters for sign languages in the spirit of living inclusion. On our Art Tours, Allianz art experts provide insight into the highlights of the fair and explain backgrounds related to emerging trends and changes in the art world. To participate in the tour, you will also need a day ticket for the same day to gain access to the fairgrounds. (Price includes headsets)
