Premiere

The premiere of Art Düsseldorf took place from November 17-19 (preview on November 16). Around 80 established and young galleries from 21 countries showed modern and contemporary art (1945-2017) in the halls of the former factory complex Areal Böhler. Almost 60 % of the galleries came from Germany and from Benelux. Art Düsseldorf 2017 attracted 43,000 visitors.  // more

Post-Lehman

On 25 sqm young galleries, whose founding date was after September 15, 2008, presented themselves as Post-Lehman galleries at Art Düsseldorf. // more

Highlighted as standout booths called “References” across the fair: These galleries juxtaposed contemporary artworks with an outstanding masterpiece created before 1945, these are: Mario Mauroner Contemporary Art (Vienna) and Michael Werner Kunsthandel (Cologne, Märkisch Wilmersdorf, New York).
