Premiere

The premiere of Art Düsseldorf takes place from November 17-19 (preview on November 16). Around 80 established and young galleries from 21 countries show modern and contemporary art (1945-2017) in the halls of the former factory complex Areal Böhler. Almost 60 % of the galleries come from Germany and from Benelux.  // more

Highlighted as standout booths called “References” across the fair: These galleries will juxtapose contemporary artworks with an outstanding masterpiece created before 1945, these are: Mario Mauroner Contemporary Art (Vienna) and Michael Werner Kunsthandel (Cologne, Märkisch Wilmersdorf, New York).

Guided tours

Join a guided tour at the fair and learn more about the galleries, artists and artworks, that are represented at Art Düsseldorf. The guided tours take place twice a day and last about one hour. // more

With its relaxed and artistic atmosphere the Lido Malkasten is the perfect communicative after show meeting spot. The room concept of restaurant and bar was designed in close collaboration with the artist Rosemarie Trockel and the modern interpreted international cuisine of chef Florian Ohlmann and his team engages guests in experimentation and trying things out. // more
